Information collected by TennisOrbit & Squash Orbit:
Information you provide when you register, and throughout your usage of the site:
When you join our sites, you provide information such as an email address, birthday, geographic location, phone number, gender, etc. (much of this information is optional).
You may also provide additional information such as your photo or video uploads, relationship status, status updates, courts or clubs you play at, comments, and other times you interact with TennisOrbit and SquashOrbit. Some of this information is helpful to us for improving our services to you (for example, partner suggester).
Your geographic location, age and other pieces of information may eventually allow us to show you age/location-based content and advertisements.
You are in control of most of this information, so only enter information in your profile that you are comfortable sharing on our sites.
When a non-member comes across a public page of the sites, they can see if you are listed in a particular city or group, but they will not be able to view your profile until they are a member. They can, however, see your photo icon, profile name, location, certain comments and postings you make and other information.
Information others share about you:
Once you start connecting with other members and becoming friends with other users, they may eventually add photos of you, or add you to a group or ladder.
Eventually, we may also gather information from the games, websites and applications you use, but only if you give us permission.
We also receive data from your computer, mobile phone or whatever device used to connect to our site. This can include your location, cookies, IP address, browser type or pages you visit. From this info, we can eventually provide you with location-based services, like advising you of players nearby. We aren’t quite there yet, but might one day be.
We may also eventually collect information from advertising partners in an effort to improve the effectiveness of the ads we send you.
Any information or data about you that is shared to advertising partners will be stripped of any personally identifying information and or aggregated with other member information so that it is no longer associated to any specific member. The only time personally identifiable information will be disclosed is if we believe that we are required, by law, to do so, or to protect our rights and property.
We also reserve the rights to transfer your personal information in the event of a merger with an other company, name change or transfer of ownership. If the company merging with or acquiring TennisOrbit or SquashOrbit has plans to change this privacy policy, members will be notified.
