Tennis Club at York University
The Tennis Club at York was founded in 2003 and quickly became one of the most active and popular sports clubs at York University. Our main goal is to contribute to the overall university experience of our members by forming a community of tennis enthusiasts that encourages sportsmanship, recreation, and physical fitness. We also strive to promote the game of tennis through competitive, recreational, and social events.
We provide all members with weekly practices, tournaments, off-court social events, and access to world-class indoor facilities in the winter. Most importantly, we offer a great place to meet new friends and other tennis fans! Though often confused with the York U Varsity Tennis Team and the York Intramural Tennis Event, the Tennis Club is in fact a separate program officially recognized by the CRC (Clubs Registration Committee). Unlike the varsity team, we do not compete in inter-university tennis events sanctioned by the OUA. Also, our club has a very active program that runs through the entire school year, while the intramural program is held only once in the fall semester.
Membership is open for players of all levels. However, only York University students, faculty, staff, and alumni are welcome to register.

Hi. I'm currently looking to play recreational tennis with someone now that classes are over. I'm at a recreational intermediate level. Is there someone available to play with me up at York or somewhere within TTC limits? Please send me a message if interested. Thank you.
Anyone interested in playing on campus?
Is this club still active?
